I've lived here exactly one month today! This is my first home, so it's extra special. I thank God quite often for blessing me with it.

I recently watched I Am Legend starring Will Smith and found myself thinking about it quite a bit. I was touched my the effects isolation from others had upon the character, and how he actually resisted human contant when the woman and child came into his life--even thoug such contact was what he was longing for.
Furthermore, he began to believe that situations occur, not by accident, but for a specific reason, which is all part of a much bigger, more sophisticated plan than any we could devise--one crafted by God.

God's art is all around us...even in the things we find to be flawed. We just have to choose to look at everything as if it's art--just as we must look at everything around us as miraculous.
My highest calling for today is to love without expectations.

We bring out the greatness in others by allowing our own greatness to emerge.

If I could learn to consider the present moment as the most important time, it would allow me to release the future to God and the plan He has for my life. Concern for how the future might look ruins the present.
A beautifully crafted sentence.

Luck is a term non-believers use to justify not taking responsibility for situations and events in their lives, so I don't give it much merit. I do, however, believe in blessings, of which I've received many. The greatest blessing I've received is remembering that I'm as God created me, powerful, full of His love, and responsible for influencing those around me to remember the truth about themselves as well.

The reason we do not have peace is because we, as a collective people committed to one another and the world, have not decided we want it yet. We admit we want peace but never unite to demand it or work toward it together.
